Alexander Headley
Alexander Headley was born in 1811 in Fayette County, Kentucky to parents James and Jane Elizabeth Patterson Headley. He was the youngest of their 11 children. Alexander married Elizabeth "Betsy" Robb and together they had 10 children. Alexander passed away in 1899 at the age of 88 and he is buried in Lexington, Kentucky.
Elizabeth "Betsy" Robb Headley
Elizabeth "Betsy" Robb was born in 1819 in Lexington, Kentucky to parents John and Catherine Elizabeth Berry Robb. She married Alexander Headley in 1836 and together they had 10 children. She died in Lexington in 1884 at the age of 65.
John Robb
John Robb was born on November 24, 1793. He married Catherine Elizabeth Berry and together they had a daughter named Elizabeth, who married Alexander Headley. John passed away on November 4, 1863 at the age of 69.
Katherine "Kate" Headley Bryan
Katherine "Kate" Headley was born in 1844 in Fayette County, Kentucky to parents Alexander and Betsy Robb Headley. Kate was the fourth child for the couple. She married Massie Bryan. Kate passed away at the age of 24 in 1868.
Virginia Headley Johnson
Virginia Headley was born on December 30, 1848 to parents Alexander and Betsy Robb Headley. She was the sixth child for the couple. In 1875 she married Charles V. Johnson and together they had three children: Margaret, Virginia, and Lewis Yarborough Johnson. Virginia died on August 14, 1929 at the age of 80.
Lewis Yarborough Johnson
This picture shows Lewis Yarborough Johnson as a young boy. He was born on December 13, 1878 in Jefferson County, Kentucky to parents Charles V. and Virginia Headley Johnson. Lewis married Elizabeth Marshall and the two of them made their home in Louisville. One of his aunts, Ella Headley Browning lived with the couple in the 1940s. Lewis died in October of 1967 and he is buried in Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
Margaret "Maggie" Headley Peck
Margaret "Maggie" Headley was born in 1849 to parents Alexander and Betsy Robb Headley. She was the seventh child for the couple. Maggie married Charles Young Peck and together the couple would have two children: Fred and Alex Headley Peck. Maggie passed away in 1880 at the age of 31.
