Sarah Frisby Wilson was born on August 29, 1795 at Cedar Grove in Fayette County, Kentucky to parents Robert Wilson and Celah Russell Wilson. In 1815, Sarah married Joseph Wilson, and they would have one son together before he passed away. In 1834, Sarah married for a second time, to Bazel Hunt. She and Bazel had three daughters, one of whom was Celia Russell Hunt Crain. Sarah passed away at the age of 57 on January 11, 1853 and was buried in Fayette County, Kentucky.
