On September 17, 1766, Gideon and Mary became the parents of Randall Gibson in Liberty, South Carolina. Randall married Harriet McKinley, born on June 29, 1771 in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1791 in Jefferson, Mississippi. The couple were parents to ten children, including both Anna Louisa Gibson and Tobias Gibson. Anna Louisa married Joel Higgins on April 8, 1823 in Mississippi. They had four sons together, including John Allen Higgins, born on October 24, 1831. John married Bettie Chinn Webb, and they were the parents of Alline Higgins Headley Rogers, the grandparents of Elisabeth Headley Garr and Frances Headley Carruth, and the great-grandparents of Elisabeth Garr Lawrence, Charlotte Garr Schubert, Frances Carruth Kerr, and Allen Higgins Carruth.
