The earliest Wilson ancestor on the family tree is Robert Wilson, born in 1764. Robert married Celah Russell, born in Culpepper County, Virginia on April 2, 1772, in May of 1790. Robert and Celah were the parents of Sarah "Sallie" Frisby Wilson, born August 29, 1795. Sallie married Rev. William Basil Hunt on November 6, 1834 in Fleming County, Kentucky. Sallie and William Basil were the parents of Celia Russell Hunt who married James William Crain. Celia and James were the parents of Sallie Rebecca Crain Garr, the grandparents of Charles Crain Garr and Clyde Lewis Garr, and the great-grandparents of Elisabeth Garr Lawrence and Charlotte Garr Schubert.
