Family Names

Each family name has a main page, and the people who have large amounts of material have their own pages found under their family name tabs.

Documents

These are materials that include correspondence, scrapbooks, diaries, postcards, ect. which are written works.  These will have their own galleries and will be organized by the author of the item as well as chronologically. Their descriptions will include the sender and receiver, the date, and on occasion brief summaries of their content when possible.  At this time complete transcriptions are not included.

Photographs

These visual materials are organized into galleries by the person in them, taking them, owned them, or the place where they were taken.  Some of these will be further identified with their main topic such as a cruise or Vanderbilt, and finally the descriptions will include dates, identification when possible, and their format.
