The Carruth name is incorporated into the family tree through the marriage of Frances Carter Headley to Burt F. Carruth in 1915. The made their home in Texas, creating a branch of the tree in the Lonestar State. Frances and B.F. had two children, a daughter named Frances Headley and a son named Allen Higgins Carruth. Frances Headley Carruth married James H. Kerr and Allen Higgins "Buddy" Carruth married Ethel Greasley.
