Celia Russell Hunt Crain was born on March 3, 1836 in Fleming County, Kentucky to parents Rev. William Basil and Sallie Frisby Wilson Hunt. She passed away on January 2, 1865 in Fleming County, Kentucky from tuberculosis. Celia is buried in the Crain Cemetery in Fleming County. This picture is undated, but it was taken sometime after 1854, as she is wearing a wedding ring.
