Family History

Susan Webb Higgins was born in July 1853 to parents John Allen and Bettie Chinn Webb Higgins. Like all her sisters, Susan was educated at the Sayre Female Institute in Lexington. She married Samuel Poyntz Cochran. She passed away at the age of 75 on December 14, 1928. She is buried in Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas.

Samuel Poyntz Cochran was born on September 1, 1855. He married Susan Webb Higgins. He died on February 11, 1936 in Dallas, Texas and is buried in Grove Hill Memorial Park in that city.
